This is such a Fun and Playful dress and I am so Glad I finally got it. The neutral color Palette makes it easy to pair with so many accessories and clothing items. The fit and feel is perfect. I Loved pairing it with my Winter boots for some contrast!

This dress fills a niche of serenity in my Zuri collection. The artwork is excellent, and the black on oatmeal slips easily in place over layers I already have. If anyone is looking for a dress to get started with, Doodle would be great way to dip your toe in. It drapes nicely, without any breaking in.

Doodle is a dress I will reach for often. I paired her first with Wool& Sierra in Oatmeal Heather, as an open coat dress. Buttoned, I envision her over midi skirts, maxi skirts, jeans. Whatever.
A subtle pattern, Doodle shares the stage beautifully.

I wasn’t taken immediately with this print due to the small scale print and softer level of contrast ( it’s beige and black vs white and black). At a distance the pattern kind of greys out and gives an overall subtle look - so different from most of my Zuri dresses and shirts that tend to be bolder in color and pattern.
However several weeks after its release it continued to whisper to me to give it a second look. I happened to be trying on other dresses at Fillmore and saw that there was just one of this print left in my size so I took the plunge and purchased it.
It’s going to be one of those go-to dresses when I need something that can literally wear anywhere. It’s like a blank canvas - so great to show off statement jewelry and layer over a shirt or sleeveless dress.
The fabric feels a tad more crisp and substantial than the usual midweight and soft to the touch characteristics of most of my Zuri dresses and shirts. The pattern also reminds me of Keith Haring doodles - it’s aptly named! I love that on the dress I purchased one of the squiggles forms a perfect heart shape at the center of my collar.

This dress exceeded my expectations! It can be paired with ballet flats or heels, dressed up or left ‘natural’. I wore mine with a red beaded necklace and red ballet flats to a luncheon recently and received many compliments . Prompt shipping to Australia and exceptional customer service.
