Based in the village of Rutongo, located 25 km north of Kigali, IBABA Rwanda works with the CORUM embroidery collective of twenty-seven women to produce hand-embroidered clothing and accessories. All the items are exclusively hand-made, from the first embroidery stitch to the last
sewing point. Each IBABA Rwanda product is unique and often requires several days of work and
the exceptional skill of the embroiderers.
