These textiles are traditionally worn by the Maasai people of Kenya and Tanzania, and are most often seen in red and blue. Typically draped loosely, they are extremely durable and quite warm. They're perfect as a wrap in crisp weather, indoors or out. They also make an excellent throw or picnic blanket!

I bought this a while ago but it felt uncomfortably large as a scarf. I had it cut in half and sent it to a good friend in Boston. I'm sure she wears hers more than I wear mine. I love it. Perfect for the cold weather. Fold in half lengthwise and it's a wrap. Or use as a lap blanket folded in half or a full length light blanket. Awesome for travel too. Not easily mistaken for an airline blanket.
