We're really proud to be working with Sasha, India's oldest fair trade cooperative to source ethically grown linen and cotton and to work with their experienced weavers in West Bengal to make these textiles. Learn more about these fabrics here!
Woven by India's oldest certified fair-trade artisanal weaving cooperative in West Bengal, these textiles are a dream! Each fabric is a hand-loomed blend of cotton and linen. We chose this blend for two reasons: 1) to create subtle texture and movement within the weave; and (more practically) 2) so that your shirts and dresses will be super easy to wash and wear, as they'll be more wrinkle resistant, more durable, and drape a bit heavier when worn. (While the fabric was produced in India, the dresses were all proudly stitched in Kenya by our team.)

The intense colour of this is even more jewel-like and vibrant in real life than in pictures, but because it's a plain Zuri it's easy to mix with lots of other styles and outfits, so it's surprisingly versatile too. Already a favourite in my wardrobe.

The color on this is amazing! The magenta is so rich and vivid. The linen is soft and comfortable. It will also pair well over some of my sleeveless dresses.

Love the color of this linen dress. However, you can see through it below the knees so it is best to wear it with over pants, leggings, skirt, a dress - or over/under another Zuri. I wore the Dragonfruit Zuri under a Folio Zuri.

I now own 2 dresses and my dog has a dog collar. So happy for ALL the purchases. The linen dress is so far my favorite over the cotton, but that's because I love linen. I wore the cotton today and was stopped by at least 5 other people to comment how much they loved it. Another handful of people while I was in a fabric store who knew their onions so I didn't count them. The dog collar is tembo. I bought it looking for a leather collar that's different. Since my dogs nickname is baby elephant it just suited us, but it is really unique and handsome. He and my other dog play rough and this collar is sturdy but still very cool! Now I will say, I bought up in the dress for my chest and i was worried about shrinkage- I shouldn't have because there's loads of room in both, but I still love them! They are sized to fit!

The color is bold and eye catching. People have stopped me on the sidewalk to ask about this dress. The linen is comfortable and easy to wear. Don't hesitate on this one, it's worth it!
