    Warm glow

    I've wavered whether to buy this dress and decided to give it a try because the deep and vibrant reds were pulling me in beyond my powers of resistance. Well - I love it! The colors are so rich, and the fabric so deliciously soft to the touch that I feel enveloped in a warm glow. The balance of two different red hues with the grey and black is very elegant and pleasing. Because only the Long version was left in my size, I shortened it to Standard length and turned the extra three inches of fabric I cut off into a belt (I am getting good at making pieces that are too long or big fit me better, even though I don't have sewing experience or a machine and am doing it by hand and out of more khutzpah than skill). If you are on the fence about this dress - it si gorgeous and delicious!

    Christmas Dress ✔️

    My first born daughter excitedly handed me my birthday gift- a Zuri gift card!!! I knew it was a stretch for her and her gesture touched me deeply. I asked her to go on the Zuri site and pick out my birthday gift for me- it would be so special if she chose it. After honing her choices down to four dresses, she ultimately chose Celosia, which , amazingly, I had been eyeing for a few months!! We were both so happy with this choice, and we both agreed it is the perfect Christmas dress, although I am allowed to wear it before the holiday. I am so blessed!!

    My New Favorite Zuri!

    Stunning Reds!

    I am so delighted with this dress! The two shades of red, balanced by the black and grey, make for a bright , cheerful, but not “noisy” pattern. Like my others, it has garnered countless compliments, especially when I wore it to our neighborhood Christmas party. I think I made a lot of Zuri converts there. My Celosia has a bit of puffiness in one shoulder area, a current issue with some dresses, but a good ironing helped make it barely noticeable.
