These natural sisal woven baskets are the perfect carry-all!  Hand-woven by a women's collective in Eastern province, Kenya, each one takes between 5-7 days to complete.  This coil tradition of sisal basket weaving is passed down through generations of women, and is a proud tradition of the elders in the villages across this region.

      Lovely bright colours

      These are well made, sturdy and a good size. They aren't the cheapest, but I do value supporting ethical business, and they look lovely si I would say they were worth the price. I use them to brighten up my standard Ikea cupboard and keep all kind of knickknacks that would normally lie around being messy :) I like that you can fold them over for a different look, and they keep their shape even when empty.
